Dr. Dana Coover
Owner and Veterinarian
Experience
Dr. Dana has been practicing veterinary medicine for a over decade. With extensive and continued training throughout her career, she has skillfully and lovingly cared for countless furry, feathered and scaled members of the family. She started at Seneca Falls Vet in 2022 as a part time doctor and wanted to stay! When Dr. Darby decided to retire she decided to buy the practice.

Dr. Dana is born and raised in the Finger Lakes. She is from Phelps and is passionate about the area. She always knew that she wanted to serve the community that she came from. She has done so through her previous veterinary positions as at Sodus Veterinary Hospital, The Country Vet, Finger Lakes Mobile Veterinary Services and her work with local animal rescues.

Dr. Dana became a third generation attendee of Keuka College for her undergraduate work. She graduate Summa Cum Laude and with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology.
After graduating she went south to attended The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine where she spent the next 4 years gaining her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Chris Armao
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. A came on staff in 2022 after selling her practice in Ithaca. She is a graduate of the Cornell School of Veterinary Medicine and has served the upstate New York community throughout her career.
Timothy Orange
Pest Control and Grounds Maintenence
Timothy Orange came on staff in 2025 when our previous groundskeeper Max retired. He continues is predecessors work with diligent inspection and attention to detail.
Abel (Steven)
Office manager and Food Inspection
Abel, also known as Steve came to the practice with Dr. Coover in 2022 and slowly worked his way into a full time managerial position after proving himself as a capable food inspector.
Darynn, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Darynn graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2013 with her Associates in Veterinary Science and is also a graduate of SUNY Oswego, (2015), with her Bachelor's in Zoology. Darynn has been in Veterinary Medicine for 9 years now, with a short break doing shelter work. Darynn's passion is anything animals! She currently has a herd of 2 dog's Echo and Kora, 4 cats, Cas, Nala, Figaro, and Pearl, a a flock of chickens and a 2 legged child. Outside Vet Med, Darynn enjoys hiking, camping and spending time making memories with her family.
Laura, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Laura has been with us since 2006, she graduated from SUNY Delhi with her BA in Veterinary Technology. Laura and her husband Jeremy have two children, Zander and Arianna. She loves to spend time with family and friends as well as her pets which includes four dogs, two rabbits, and a cat.
Kaitlin, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kaitlin began working with us in June of 2017, after having just graduated SUNY Delhi in the Spring of 2017. She knew she wanted to join the team after learning from the staff here during her internship. Kaitlin loves to spend her time outside of the office with her Bugg (Boston Terrier/Pug mix), Disney, and her Bearded Dragon, Daenerys.
Olivia, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Olivia joined the team in June of 2021 during her internship. She started as a Veterinary Technician in May of 2022 after she graduated with an Associate's degree from Alfred State University. She currently has one cat, "Jenni" (Jennifer Lopez) and one dog, "Benni" at home, and she is a great addition to the staff here .
Mahala, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Mahala, another SUNY Delhi graduate, began working here after her graduation in 2018. She and her significant other have a wide variety of pets at home including their 4 dogs (Sassy, Hunny, Waylen, and Dudley), 2 cats (Mickey and Kenny), a Green Cheek Conure (Ricky), and chickens.
Malissa, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Malissa joined the team in August of 2019. She graduated from SUNY Delhi in the spring of 2012 and has been working as an LVT since. She spends her free time with her husband Joshua, their five dogs (Ava, Kairi, Schmidt, Flynn and Rebel) and their three cats (Dmitri, Turbo, and Gary).

Nick began working with us in 2019, he enjoys spending his time with his wife Kiara, and their beagle Samson.
